Preseason Tailgating--Seahawks Style

Preseason isn't just for the players and teams. Fans also use the four exciting, action-packed, and meaningless games to make sure they're ready for the season. My brother Nick, who loves the Seahawks enough to sport a green Seahawks jersey, spent the offseason creating the ultimate tailgating van, and used the preseason to test it out. As you can see, he clearly meant business during game two against the Broncos. Of course, no tailgate is complete without food and drinks, and not only is Nick a die-hard fan, he's also damn good chef who wouldn't overlook the necessities. According to Nick, the van is outfitted with a Coleman Roadtrip Grill XL (Seahawks blue of course), with a grill, griddle, and stove top.
At that game we ate garlic herb grilled tiger prawns, Korean BBQ beef (bulgogi), grilled thai eggplant (which look like golf ball-sized watermelons and give your tongue a little bit of a numbing sting), Parmesan-stuffed sliders with Truby Secret Sweet and Spicy sauce, and grilled baby bok choy. You have to have drink with food, of course: Jack and Gingers, champagne, and Rainier beers (to keep with the Seattle pride thing).
And even though he's pissed that none of us picked Seattle to make the playoffs, he was still willing to admit their play calling sucks. Luckily, he found a Mike Holmgren look-alike to yell at, though this guy didn't seem too upset. The real Mike Holmgren probably would've called his other doppelganger, Andy Reid, and together they would've eaten all of Nick's delicious food and then sat on him. I'm not sure he looks that much like Holmgren, but the truth is, pretty much any overweight white guy with a killer 'stache is close enough. Below is more pics of the "12 Van." I can't forget to mention that he ran into some guy who called himself "The Seapimp."
